I have been teaching high school mathematics since 2012. I enjoy making math accessible, relatable, and fun.

I am originally from Georgia and spent the first eight years of my career teaching in metro Atlanta. I'm an alumna of Georgia Tech (Go Jackets!) and have earned two graduate degrees (M.A.T. and Ed.S.) in secondary mathematics education. I have enjoyed leading professional development for my peers at the school, district, and state levels, typically focused on efficient technology use in the mathematics classroom, and I served on the K-12 math advisory committee for one of the largest school districts in Georgia.

My favorite part about teaching is connecting with my students. In 2023, I was honored to serve as the officiant for the wedding of two of my alumni! ❤️

I love teaching, and I am always trying to learn new things. My hobbies include traveling, walking, reading, board games, and video games. I also volunteer with a local education & conservation non-profit that rescues foxes and other canids.
